What a great evening out! We just moved to Bowling Green and decided to have a treat. Well our best treat was our server Logan! We will be regular costumers with service like that! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great! We sat in the bar area. That will be the only location we will ask for from now on. Logan a big THANK YOU! to making us feel so welcome to the area. Keep up the GREAT WORK! If only every restaurant had service like that! The world would be a Happier Place! See you soon! Oh and the Cucumber Lemonade was the bomb! Give it a try.

Staying at the hotel next door, though an Outback would be the perfect choice for a meal and a few beer so I would have to drive, food was sub par and service was even worse, I would rather walk across extremely busy highway than stop there again, so disappointed

On my way through town...Poor service, wrong food, last 2 ounces of the 9 oz sirloin was undercooked and full of grissel (spelling???) and sinew...un-edible. Manager person was too busy chatting it up with a friend at the bar, right next to my table, to notice or ask how things were. I won't be back. Skip it.

After leaving Beech Bend Park, the hubs was craving a blooming onion. So off to Outback we went. We were seated immediately as they didn't seem to be very busy and our drink order was taken. Our blooming onion came in like 5 minutes after ordering, super quick! After we started eating the onion we realized we had no silverware or napkins to wipe our hands with. The waitress, Paige, came back to refill drinks and I asked if we can get some silverware and napkins and she said "They are rolling some now" Ok cool. See we continue eating the onion and then our food comes out shortly. The server gives us all our food and asked if there was anything else we needed. I, once again, said silverware and napkins please. He brought them immediately. My daughter ordered HOT wings. When she got them they were not hot at all, no sauce on them just fried. I asked the waitress about it and she said she can bring me a side of buffalo sauce, which I was ok with. It comes and its water, I try to stir it up some so my daughter would at least try it and it seemed to have clumps of butter??? in it. Heck, I hope it was butter, the more I stirred the sauce the more the "butter" seemed to melt. Needless to say my daughter was not even willing to try it so she ate her wings plain. Hubbys porter house was cooked perfect and my son enjoyed his BBQ wings. There was nothing outstanding about it, just your typical chain steakhouse.

The food at this Outback was top notch. Might rival our usual in Los Angeles. The thing is, our server Travis ruled so hard. He makes the best Strawberry Smash this side of North Korea. Even if you're not in the mood for steaks , just come in and ask for Travis and get him to make you a bad to the bone Strawberry Smash and take the edge off.

Restaurant was cold during the winter. Burgers are awful, dry, old onions are served instead of fresh. I didn't like the fries. I usually get them with out salt so they are made to order but yuck. I enjoyed the blooming onion! Service very slow! Update I totally got sick from the food the next day! I will never go back!

Been to a number of these around our great nation. The Bowling Green KY restaurant was an excellent experience. Great service, our steaks were perfect!! French Onion soup was flavor some and served hot = perfect!, the coconut shrimp was cooked to perfection, the shrimp big, juicy also served hot, with a terrific dipping sauce. So good we ate there two nights in a row!

Excelant service, even the house manager came to talk beer with me. My mother had the chicken, she said it was very good and the fries were excelant. I had the sirloin rare medium rare, with asperagus Very excelant. EXCEPT. Why do all restaraunts seem to think that everybody wants there meat drowing in spices or hot sauce. If I'm paying big bucks for a steak , I want to taste the meat. If I find a restaraunt that would grill a steak without anything on it... Automatic 5 stars!!!

Really.....you need to be reading a review about outback steakhouse?? Ok here goes. It's not going to be a Smith and Wollensky or Bern's but it's better than the Sizzler, or the ribeye at the Waffle House

Got right in and had a beverage quick, but it was downhill from there. Service got slow, portions got small, and the entree was over salted, and I like salt...

I like to sit at the bar because the service is faster. That statement did not hold true for this establishment. My food was perfect and really good. It took far too much effort on my part to get those things though. - I asked for menu after waiting for 5 minutes- with 2 bartenders on a Monday night. - After finding both a beer and a dinner selection that I would like I set the menu down and watched both bartenders- being ready to establish eye-contact/smile to let them know I'm ready... Nothing. Another 5 minutes and I said- as the bartenders head was down in front of me- "May I order a beer, please?" without looking up he mumbled something- that I figured was a yes or something similar. I ordered the beer- he finished whatever he was doing and brought the beer- still no eye contact or asking me about a potential food order. Half the beer later he was within ear shot again so I asked "May I order food now, please?" Anyway- that's pretty much how the rest of the time went. When my food came I asked the runner if I could get one of the rolls that other people got with their dinner. BTW- the dude who sat 3 seats down from me received eye contact, ample service and was even offered bread although he only ordered a salad. And the three loud dudes at the end of the bar were just eating appetizers and drinking cheap beer and they got rolls and lots of attention. It was a wild and terrible experience.

Not what I expected nor remembered. I only ended up here because the people I was with picked it. Food was ok. Service was awful. Server was nowhere to be found. We were served bread on a greasy bread board and was told it was just water. We were served our meals before the silverware AGAIN (see smokey bones). Is this a "thing" in Bowling Green? I mean B.Y.O.S.? Maybe I am to picky, but I don't go out to eat expecting to eat with my hands.

Both had Sirloin with Blue Cheese Crust... Brother also had Lobster Mac&Cheese... Fast service during dinner rush. Excellent tasting food. 5 Stars for the amusing waiter who took the time to laugh and talk. Took plates off table right away and kept up with sodas. I will back again! I think my brother may have ate 2 lbs worth of food and he commented it was the best steak he ever had.

Was in town for a race, and we hit Outback. My experiences with this chain have been hit and miss, but this time it was a good experience. I had the 20 oz steak, medium rare, and it was very good. Service was excellent, and quick. I've been to this one before so it's very loud and very crowded and very popular. But nonetheless the service was crisp and we did not have to wait a long time for the food. A-ok in my book.

If I could give them a zero I would. Bowling Green's Outback is the absolute worst. Two years ago my husband and I had dinner there and after we paid my husband forgot to take his debit card out of the check jacket and later that night someone put 200 dollars worth of gas on it. When he returned to talk to the manager about it the next day the waiter claimed he didn't remember us and hadn't seen our card and the manager said there was nothing he could do. Right, sure. Anyway, we never returned because we thought that was pretty shady, but this past November we decided to give them another try and that was a huge mistake. Everything was fine until our meals came out. My steak was a bit charred and salty, but I'm not real picky so it was fine, but my friend was really disappointed in the quality and quantity of his steak and shrimp. I have to say they did look pretty pathetic, especially considering how much you pay for them. Well, my friend is a really sweet person, he will apologize for apologizing, but when he saw the meal he instantly said to us I will never come back here and the waitress overheard him and asked him about it. He, of course said it was no big deal, but she could tell it was. A few minutes later the manager comes over and apologizes to him and tries to give him a free appetizer, which was very nice of her, but at this point my friend was embarrassed and told her he was fine and didn't want the appetizer coupons. Anyway, apparently there was an off duty detective sitting next to us because a little while after the female manager left a male manager came over and basically told us that the detective wanted him to cut off my friend and pretty much that we should finish up and leave. WTF!! First off, we didn't do anything, we have a right to be unhappy about our meals and secondly none of us were being belligerent or out of line. I didn't have any alcohol and my friend had only had one beer. That was a case of poor management and an obscene abuse of power by the local police force.

I now remember why I don't go to Outback. The food was bad and the service was even worse. My wife and I were on vacation and just wanted a nice dinner. It took a while to find this place as it was hidden behind a hotel. We had to ask for everything from the waitress (water, silverware, napkins, bread) and then everything came out all at once. The waitress had zero personality and we were just thankful to get out of there. So much for southern hospitality.

For a chain restaurant, these guys do great. Waiting time is usually half that of other BGKY restaurants on weekends: the one time we waited, they gave out free drinks and steak samples. Like all Outbacks, this place has very generous portions and tasty steaks. I, however, love their fish: the crab cakes are perfect (especially for the mainland!) and the stuffed tilapia is mouth-watering.
